Red Devil does MDHS proud!

Concord ---  Antonio Flaggs, '06, announced at lunchtime today his acceptance of a full ride scholarship to Humboldt State University!

Flaggs is a scholar and a star athlete, earning acclaim on the basketball court as well as in the classroom, where he inspires, motivates and entertains classmates with his strong work ethic, his leadership and his quick wit.

Flaggs has the respect of students and faculty alike at Mount Diablo.  He is a dependable team player in each aspect of school life he participates in, and we all know we can count
Flaggs overwhelms the competition and goes for a three-pointer.
With MDHS already ahead by 4 points, Flaggs easily ads a couple more to the scoreboard.

In his own words:  "Graduation has come so fast!  I'm going to miss Mt. Diablo for sure - the energy at Mount is just so high - it won't be like that at Humboldt State...

I plan to start as a freshman.  I'm going to have to contribute a lot to the team and be ... the leader I was made to be.  There's going to be a lot of pressure playing the point  guard position - hopefully I can lead the team to success."
"I'm excited for my future ... at Humboldt State."
