Ron DeBeaumont, '49
Probably Spanish I and II. Ms. Galindo was great
and I learned to sing many Spanish songs.
That was easier than recitation (go figure).
Biology was another favorite, although Ms. Henderson failed me
for not submitting a complete set of categorized flowers and bugs, even though I received A's in the preceding report periods.
On the retake, Mr. Johnson allowed me to draw them.
Ms. O'Grady was fine for English,
although I understand her frustration over my ignorance of poetry, Shakespere, and that "junk and stuff".
I'll never forget how she humiliated me for my analogy of "mael". That's not a horse or a letter.
Pete Kramer was the best.
