Di Hi Colors Not
Red and Green
Stanford rooters will have
something to gloat over now.
Olive and cardinal are the
colors of Mt. Diablo High, us-
ually called red and green, how-
ever.
Diablo borrowed these hues
sometime before 1905, from two
well known schools. Cardinal, or
red, came to us from Stanford
where our first principal, Mr.
George Wright, graduated. And
our first vice-principal, Maud
Grover, left us her Michigan
University olive, or green. Now
you know.
