The Devil Made Me Do It!

*  Mt. Diablo had a 30 year tradition of Senior Shows.  In 1971, the senior class broke with tradition and did not have a Senior Show.  Drama teacher Jack De Rieux explained, "The show was cancelled because it was not anywhere near readiness for public showing.  The reason for that was that most of the seniors in the cast were simply not showing up for rehearsal."

* Some MD students who felt alienated chose to express their frustration through pyromaniac protests and pot smoking on campus.
