Following the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and a catered dinner, alumni were treated to a winning football game as the Devils burned the Bulldogs on Friday night, October 3, 2003.
Members of the MDHS Alumni Association were on hand to sell alumni spirit items at a discount. Some prices were slashed as much as 50% for the event and many game attendees took advantage of the deals.
"It was cold & we sold blankets," said Joe Funderburg, '51, who took pictures of alumni braving the chill under the warmth of the comfy Red Devil stadium blankets, which we offered for $20 that evening.
Coach Hart Fairclough was honored with the renaming of
the football stadium.
The MDHS Red Devil Stadium
